With over 10 million views, Koop Island Blues remains one of the films I’m most proud of. Koop gave me something incredibly precious as a director: complete creative freedom. They trusted me to enter their music and respond to it entirely through my own visual language — my world, my obsessions, my philosophy. The result is a film that still feels deeply personal to me, and one of the purest expressions of what I love about making music videos.

My deepest thanks to Mia Jacob for her performance, and to Charlène Gravel, my fav editor and a longtime creative partner. You’ll notice the same names appearing again and again throughout my credits. I’ve been incredibly fortunate to build these films with people I love, trust, and who have trusted me in return.
